A husband and father of newborns in Ondo State is experiencing a mix of emotions after reports surfaced that Bayo Jeje went missing following the birth of his wife's triplets.
The incident took place at Aribo Hospital, Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday, March 31, 2025. His wife, Mrs. Iyanu Ehuwa Jeje, successfully delivered three healthy baby boys at the hospital after facing complications at Igbokoda Health Centre.
According to hospital sources, she initially sought medical help at the health center but encountered significant delays due to the absence of a doctor. She was subsequently rushed to Aribo Hospital when her condition deteriorated, where she ultimately gave birth safely.
Since the birth, well-wishers have gathered at the hospital to support the new mother. However, her husband’s whereabouts remain unknown, raising concerns among family and friends as the reason for Mr. Jeje’s disappearance is still unclear. In the meantime, community members are coming together to provide financial and material support to the mother and her newborns.
Authorities and concerned individuals are calling on Jeje to return and be with his family during this critical time. As of this report, efforts to locate him are ongoing.
