The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has initiated a major reshuffle in the police force, posting 7 Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) to key offices and 18 Commissioners of Police (CPs) to AIG positions nationwide, pending approval from the Police Service Commission (PSC). This strategic move aims to revamp the force, ensuring it delivers on its duties efficiently. AIG Margaret Ochalla: Now heading the AIG FCID Annex in Lagos
AIG Abayomi Peter Oladipo: Assigned to AIG Zone 13 in Ukpo
AIG Fred Ekokotu: Overseeing AIG Zone 11 in Osogbo
AIG Iwo Nemi Edwin Osigboka: In charge of AIG Border Patrol Force at the Force Headquarters in Abuja
AIG Garba Ahmed: Taking on the role of AIG Department of Training and Development (DTD) at the Force Headquarters in Abuja
AIG Salman Dogo: Assigned to AIG Zone 5 in Benin
AIG Kanayo Uzuegbu: Now responsible for AIG Zone 9 in Umuahia.
In a massive restructuring move, 18 Commissioners of Police (CPs) have been posted to strategic offices, acting in the capacity of Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) pending approval from the Police Service Commission (PSC). Here are the newly posted CPs:
