CG AUDI DECLARES OPEN TWO ( 2 ) DAYS WORKSHOP ON INTERAGENCY COLLABORATION, COORDINATION AND ADR FOR NSCDC PERSONNEL IN LAGOS.
The Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR earlier yesterday, Friday, 13th December, 2024, declared open a 'TWO ( 2 ) DAYS WORKSHOP ON INTERAGENCY COLLABORATION, COORDINATION AND ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION FOR NSCDC PERSONNEL,' organized, by KONRAD ADENAUER STIFTUNG ( KAS ), in Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The Commandant General, NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR was ably represented, yesterday, Friday, at the opening ceremony of the aforementioned seminar above, by Mr Adedotun Keshinro, the State Commandant, NSCDC, Lagos State Command.
The Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, who represented, the Commandant General at the event read the CG's keynote address during the opening ceremony of the event, yesterday. He said that the workshop will enhance the required, necessary skills that will promote partnerships among the personnel of the Corps, boost their relationship, with other security agencies and improve the citizen’s confidence in them. He further stated that the NSCDC remains supportive, to the vision of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) and is grateful to the Resident Representative, Ms Marija Peran and her vibrant team for providing wonderful programs for institutional growth and development amidst others .
The Resident Representative of KAS in Nigeria, Ms Marija Peran seized, the opportunity of the seminar to reiterate the much appreciated, long and ever sustained, history between KAS, a German Political Foundation and the NSCDC, since twenty ( 20 ) years ago. She also pointed out that the seminar will help the participants drawn from within the Corps, to achieve better outcomes, when the personnel interact with or deal with other security agencies on the field. She affirmed that the training will definitely, help to build the capacities of personnel in the area of effective communication, empathy, open dialogue, emotional intelligence and many other required skills that will in turn remain solution driven and practical during real life situations on the job.
The Resident Representative of KAS, Nigeria, Ms Marija Peran also specially, appreciated, the Commandant General, NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi once again for his unprecedented support towards ensuring smooth, continuous and progressive training and retraining of his personnel across various zones and regions of the country. She said that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel as officers will be equiped with skills, methods and approaches that will help them perform better on their job.
