He made an about turn after the candidate he predicted would emerge victorious in the election, failed to win.

Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei, had grabbed media limelight in the run-up to the Ghana 2024 presidential election, with his declaration that the candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),,Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, would win the election.

So confident was he in the prophecy that he urged Ghanaians to stone him to death, should his prophecy not fail to come to pass.

The election has since been concluded and a winner announced, not Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei predicted candidate.

Rather, it was former President John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), that won the election, and Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei is now on his knees begging Ghanaians for forgiveness.

In 2021 for example, he was accused of allegedly threatening to cause the death of the Chairman of the Ghana Electoral Commission, Jean Mensah, a threat contained in a video broadcast.

According to the prosecution, a careful analysis of the video disclosed the usage of abusive, threatening and insulting language against the complainant.
