Hon. Dr. Paul Fregene, the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) of Ejigbo LCDA, has been assigned the position of Secretary General for the Nigeria branch of the Africa Political Consultant Association (APCA).
On Saturday, a virtual executive meeting led by Mr. Kip Kirui (Kenya) and Mr. Tope Ajayi (SSA to PBAT, Nigeria) took place to select Fregene as the chosen location, as decided by the Association.
Mrs. Temitope Lakisokun, the Nigerian chapter President of the Association, expressed her admiration for Fregene's dedication to enhancing the Association in Nigeria, stating that he truly earned the position.
She expressed gratitude for the kind words and acknowledged her brother's dedication to APCA.
"You hold great importance as a member of our association, and I am certain that this new position will lead to favorable and impactful advancements, pushing the Nigerian chapter towards greater achievements.
I eagerly anticipate our joint endeavors and the remarkable accomplishments we will accomplish together."
In his speech, the newly appointed Secretary General clarified that the engagement with the organization and its operations commenced in Ethiopia in 2019, followed by Senegal in 2022, and then Morocco in 2023.
During his speech accepting his role, he expressed the need for our Africa Political Consultant Content to have a visible and clear presence in campaign messages to the voters.
I want to express my gratitude to my political mentor, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan, who served as the immediate past President of APCA and Special Adviser to the Hon. Minister of Solid Minerals. It is because of him that I have been able to succeed and thrive. Additionally, I would like to thank the Scribe 57 of Lagos State for their support.
