In the early hours of Saturday, December 28th, 2024, the executive chairman of Ejigbo LCDA called on emergency meeting of all security apparatus, including councilors, cabinet members and concerned community stakeholders, sequel to the resent attack on four in Agbo Ile, Ejigbo last bus stop which claimed the life of one indigene, by name Niyi, popularly called Agbede, others are currently responding to treatment in the hospital .
All security apparatus which included the LNSC, Councilors and cabinet members assembled at Ejigbo police divisional head quarter, pipe line axis where the movement began to the scene of the virulent incidence in Agbo Ile, Ejigbo. All shantees were combed, and in the process, cartel of hard drugs trafficking which was suggested to be the motivation behind all the vices recorded were uncovered and earmarked for demolition with immediate effect.
Upon returning to the police station, violators of road infrastructures who have ignorantly turned public walkways into trade stands - littering the drainages with refuse were also encountered, and violators were given stern warning to do needful with immediate effect.
The council Boss has expressed deepest sympathy with the bereaved family, and wished the deceased eternal rest.
"I will not condone any form of atrocity in Ejigbo and all papetrators of this gruesome act must be unraveled and brought to book", said the council Boss.
Ejigbo LCDA will neither harbor nor allow bad eggs to rubbish its good image that has since the administration of Alhaji Monsurudeen Bello (OBE) been revamped.
The council Boss called on community people to speak out when they see, as long has his office and the office of the DPO are meant for the entire people of Ejigbo to utilize when the need arises.
