Renowned Lagos nightlife promoter, Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, has claimed that the Magodo area of Lagos has become a hub for married women seeking secret affairs with younger men.

Magodo is a town located in the Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, bounded by Ikosi-Ketu and Ojodu Berger.

During an interview, while reacting to the sex scandal involving Baltasar Engonga, the embattled anti-graft boss of Equatorial Guinea, Pretty Mike revealed that many married women in Lagos engage in illicit relationships without their husbands' knowledge.

According to the crime watch report, Pretty Mike argued that some societies accept open marriages, where couples consent to extramarital affairs.

"I think it is their thing. We are in a society where husbands are allowed to sleep with other women and women allowed to sleep with other men," he said.

Pretty Mike further claimed that this phenomenon is widespread in Lagos, particularly in the Magodo area, where he alleged that "married women who sleep with young boys" have made the area their "headquarters."

He suggested that the husbands of these married women are unaware of their spouses' infidelity, stating that "if you are a husband and you are not aware your wife is sleeping with other men, that means something is wrong."

However, Pretty Mike also hinted that there might be a "tight niche or a cartel" where the couples are aware of each other's extramarital activities and have mutually agreed to "have their own fun."

He further warned that if such a scandal were to emerge in Lagos, it could be even more significant than the recent Equatorial Guinea case.
