Police operatives from the Lagos State Command have uncovered a ritualists den and arrested six suspects with prepared concoctions suspected to be pounded human parts during the operation.

Crimewatchnewspaper reports that the suspects were arrested by the Commissioner of Police Tactical Squard 2nd Rainbow Amuwo Odofin, led by CSP Baba Ahmed at INRI Estate, Oke Afa area of Lagos.

The suspects, whose names the Police have not released officially, were arrested at the three bedroom apartment which they rented and used to perform the rituals following a tip off by their errand boy who revealed their activities in the estate.

They were alleged to have rented the apartment when the owner of a hotel they were using in Isolo area chased them away, they moved into the estate and continued their ritual activities.

Some of the items recovered inside the flat included several cups and plates containing stinking substances and materials which they used to “invoke Dollars” into a small plate placed in their altar.

Other items included cutlasss, plates and some black bags with strange substance and materials, which the Police are still investigating to know the details of what are contained in the bags.

The arrest of the suspects has thrown the residents of INRI Estate into jubilation as they were said to be aware of the activities of the suspects but were unable to inform the Police for fear of their lives.

According to the residents, their activities got exposed by their errand boy who claimed to have been abducted, hypnotized and kept in the house for over a year.

The boy later regained his senses, stole their laptop, iPhone and escaped. While they were looking for the boy, one of them went to the boy’s mother’s house and started threatening to kill her if he did not see the boy and the property he stole.

The matter was reported to the Police at the Tactical Squad and the boy went to the Police, revealed their activities and how he managed to escape with the missing items because they kept him in captivity serving them without any payment while his mother was looking for him.

When the reporter contacted the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, over the arrest, his phone rang but he did not pick his calls.

At the Tactical Squad, the OC CSP Baba Ahmed was said to have gone to the State Police Command to brief the Commissioner of Police over the arrest. [].Meanwhile, the colleagues of the suspects were said to have besieged the Tactical Squad threatening to kill the boy and the mother for reporting to the Police but the Police were yet to react over the development.
