AIG Adegoke Fayoade, CP Ishola Olarewaju On The Ball

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Adegoke Fayoade, and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Ishola Adewale Olarewaju, have implemented strategies that have been effective in curbing violent crimes in Lagos and Ogun states.

A review of the security measures taken by these "security golden boys" has revealed that their efforts have not only reduced violent crimes to a bare minimum but have also helped residents and visitors feel safe and secure. The cases of rape, kidnapping, and ritual murders have declined in the two states due to their proactive approach towards tackling criminal elements.

The AIG and the CP Lagos have enforced discipline among senior and junior police officers, which has further contributed to the crackdown on notorious criminals and their hideouts in Lagos and Ogun states. They have surrounded themselves with experienced and competent officers, such as DCPs Ahmed Lateef, Olubode Ojajuni, Patrick Edejawe, and CSP Igbinazaka Ugowe, who have played a crucial role in securing the lives and property of Nigerians and foreigners in the two states.

According to a top police officer who spoke on the condition of anonymity, with the collaboration of these officers and others who will join hands with the AIG and the CP Lagos, the criminals and their activities will soon be a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, the police high commands in Lagos and Ogun states have begun plans to renovate and improve the appearances of their command headquarters through various projects initiated by the police chiefs in charge.
