The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Ishola Olanrewaju Olawale, paid a surprise visit to the Bolade, Oshodi office of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce), chaired by CSP Akerele Adetayo.
During the visit, CP Ishola addressed the Taskforce Chairman, his senior police officers, and top management staff. He described the Taskforce as a key player in the command's dedicated efforts to strengthen the safety and security of the citizens, as well as maintain public order in the state.
CP Ishola commended the Taskforce under CSP Akerele for the good work it is doing. He urged the entire workforce to maintain a high level of physical and medical wellness, stating that sound health is a key ingredient for optimal performance.
In response, CSP Akerele thanked CP Ishola for the visit, stating that it was a historic event. He said the positive appraisal received from his boss would serve as motivation to elicit more commitment and quality service delivery from the Taskforce team, in line with the enabling laws guiding the agency's functions.
To formally appreciate the visit, CSP Akerele presented a complementary plaque to CP Ishola, an initiative introduced by the Taskforce helmsman to strengthen the spirit of camaraderie and synergy within and among relevant agencies and institutions.
