I shot him because I met him in uncompromising position with my Woman — Suspect confesses
A local hunter, Joseph Ajegba, has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly shooting his friend after discovering him in a compromising situation with a woman Ajegba was involved with.
The incident occurred in Ikun-Akoko, a community in the Akoko Southwest Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Ajegba, who now faces charges of attempted murder, reportedly acted in a fit of rage after catching his friend in bed with the woman, a mother of three.
According to the 38-year-old suspect, he had spent the previous night at the woman’s house after returning from a hunting trip. He had rented the apartment for her and had even dropped off bush meat from his latest hunt before heading out again
Upon his return, Ajegba was shocked to find his friend engaging in sexual relations with the woman he considered his partner. Fueled by anger and betrayal, he allegedly shot his friend in response.
