Pastor Isaac Oyedepo recently shared his personal experiences during an episode of the "Confession Box" podcast, hosted by Pastor Luke Adeboye, who is the son of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
During the podcast, Pastor Oyedepo described his confessions as "good ones that will help people." He recounted the beginning of his battle with pornography, which started during a trip abroad. He explained that he had been left alone in a room and switched on the TV, leading to his addict Pastor
Pastor Oyedepo expressed gratitude for his eventual deliverance from the addiction. He lamented the silence surrounding such issues within the church community, highlighting that many pastors and church members still struggle with similar challenges.
Reflecting on his journey, Oyedepo emphasized that just because someone is anointed and experiences signs and wonders, it does not necessarily mean they are standing right. He acknowledged that there were times when he was not right, but grace and mercy found him. He emphasized the importance of being genuine and open about these struggles, as God can sometimes bypass the anointed to reach those who are genuinely seeking help.
