The program, held from February 22nd to 24th, 2024, at Black Diamond Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, brought together FCID detectives, including representatives from EFCC and Immigration, to explore contemporary investigative practices.
Distinguished guests, including IGP Egbetokun Kayode, Dr. Solomon Arase (IGP, Rtd), AIG Adenrele Shinaba (rtd), DIG FCID Alabi Sylvester, HRM Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, and key note speaker Dr. Benjamin Niran Aluko, graced the occasion, highlighting the collective commitment to elevating criminal justice standards in Nigeria.
Expert facilitators enriched the training, equipping participants with tools for effective and ethical investigations. The emphasis on professionalism aims to enhance Nigeria's criminal justice system, fostering a renewed sense of purpose among participants.
AIG Idowu Owohunwa expresses gratitude to participants, guests, and facilitators for contributing to the success of the training. The initiative is expected to strengthen the foundations of professionalism in criminal investigation in line with the mandate of IGP Egbetokun Kayode.
