Police commends C Way group, Torydoes advertising agency for police traffic stands donation .Crimewatch Newspaper appreciated for it's partnership

CP Fakode Adegoke, the head of the Lagos State Police, expressed gratitude on behalf of Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, to CWAY Group, Torydoes advertising agency, and Crimewatch magazine for their donation of more than 50 modern and branded traffic police stands across the state. 

 

CP Adegoke praised CWAY group, a producer of hygienic water and beverage products, for joining forces with the state police command as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.    

 

The Commissioner stated, "It is difficult to measure the impact of this donation, but it presents numerous opportunities." He emphasized the significant loss in revenue, productivity, and health issues, including stress, caused by traffic bottlenecks throughout the state.    

 

Adegoke explained that the traffic stands would be strategically placed throughout the state to alleviate traffic congestion and improve the economy. 

 

He expressed gratitude to CWAY group and Torydoes advertising agency for choosing the state police command as a beneficiary of their CSR efforts in the area of road traffic management on behalf of the Inspector General of Police. 

 

Adegoke emphasized the importance of the partnership with Crimewatch magazine as a prominent news platform. 

 

The Deputy Director of Marketing at CWAY group, Mr. Samuel Akinrimisi, stated that the traffic stands were reinforced to provide protection and resting platforms for the officers on duty.   He further explained their desire to partner with the police due to the hazards faced by officers during their daily duties.   The company also praised the police for providing adequate security coverage for their structures and facilities. 

 

Mr. David Akharume, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Torydoes advertising company limited, explained their involvement in the project as a means to enhance the security landscape of the country. 

 

The donation and commissioning of the stands were attended by dignitaries from across the state, including CP Adegoke, DCPs S.U Khan (Adminstration), Tijani Fatai (Operations), Waheed Ayilara (DC Panti), Legal officer in charge of Lagos Police Command, Yetunde Cardoso, and the command's spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin. Also present were Mr. David Akharume, Eugene Jones, Ohi Akpengbe from Crimewatch Magazine, and Chidozie Anyanyu, a renowned transporter.   The CWAY group was fully represented by their Deputy Director of Marketing.
