The Nigeria Police Force, acting on behalf of the recruitment board, is delighted to inform that the physical/credentials screening for candidates applying for the position of Police Constables in the General Duty and Specialist Cadres of the Nigeria Police Force will commence.   




The nationwide Physical and Credential Screening Exercise will take place from 8th to 29th January 2024. During this period, prospective applicants will be required to personally appear to determine their qualification status and suitability in their desire to serve the nation.    



Candidates who have been shortlisted for the physical/credentials screening exercise are required to attend the designated venues and bring the following documents: proof of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized medical hospital, a letter of good character from the village/district head of the applicant, original and duplicate copies of the certificate of origin signed by the local government chairman or secretary, original and duplicate copies of the national identity card/slip, original and duplicate copies of the 'O' level result(s), birth certificate/declaration of age, printed application form, completed guarantor's form, and invitation slips.    




The public, including applicants, are cautioned against engaging in any illegal activities like the manipulation or counterfeiting of documents to be submitted for evaluation.   



Anyone found involved in such actions will be apprehended and legally prosecuted as per applicable laws.   



 The Inspector-General of Police is issuing a caution regarding the actions of scam artists and people who may try to take Àxadvantage of the recruitment process for their own benefit.   





They stress that the application and s election process is not to be paid for and will be conducted through official means.



 Any dishonest actions should be i

mmediately reported to the authorities for appropriate action to be taken.   The IGP guarantees that the Police Recruitment Board is made up of committed and honest individuals who will ensure a fair and unbiased recruitment process without any corrupt practices.
